Please be sure to review our traffic reminders below to ensure the safety of all our students and families during arrival and dismissal. If you have any questions please reach out to our main office. Thank you for your partnership in education.

Guidance to Families:

Guidance to Families:

The entrance from Chippewa Middle School will not be permitted during dismissal. We will close off that entrance per the recommendation from the Des Plaines Police Department. This is in the effort to reduce the congestion of traffic.
Parents should enter from Golf Road using 5th or 6th Street.
Parents remain in your vehicles as you come to pick up or drop off your student(s).
The first lane (closest to the curb) is for cars picking up students, once the car in front of you moves forward please follow.
The second lane is for cars driving through or pulling away after they have picked-up their student(s)
Students will exit the building and be escorted to the Car Pick Up Zone.
If a parent walks to Cumberland to pick up their student, they may meet them in the Student Waiting Area or by the playground.
Parents may choose to look for a parking spot in the parking lot to park, but you can not park in the pick-up or drive through lanes.
Cars will be directed to exit the parking lot using the exit near Chippewa Middle School.
Please contact the main office if your child's dismissal routine will be different for the day, no later than 3pm.

Every Monday, school dismisses at 3:15pm for all grades.

Tuesday - Friday school dismisses at 3:30pm for all grades.
