Cumberland
Cumberland Elementary School students in Ms. Jelena Todorovich's art class had a fun time designing and creating their very own paper hearts.
The students began the project by coloring in one heart.
They then cut the heart out and glued it onto a different colored piece of paper.
Ms. Todorovich then had them cut out other pieces of colored paper and glue those around the heart.
The students enjoyed adding colored stickers around their hearts as well.
They then cut that piece out in a heart shape and repeated the same steps a few times, creating beautiful paper heart masterpieces.
Cutting and glueing small pieces of paper helps younger students improve their motor skills and hand to eye coordination.
