Cumberland Elementary School students in Mr. Nathan Coon's music class participated in a variety of musical activities this week!

At the start of class Mr. Coon asked the students in a singing voice how they were doing and they each responded by singing back how they were feeling.

They then sang the "Hello" song together.

The next song was "Obwisana," in which they used different colored bean bags to match the beat of the song.

It was then time to play the recorders.

As they followed the song on the screen, Mr. Coon showed the students how to produce different notes with the recorder using different fingers.

The final activity of the class was a free dance in which they used colorful streamers to move along to the beat of the music.

The students had a blast and can't wait for their next music class!
