Dance Moves and Xylophones!

A group of young girls, dressed in colorful shirts and pants, are gathered in a classroom setting with various educational materials and supplies visible in the background.

Fourth grade students in Mr. Coon's music class enjoyed singing, dancing and learning all about xylophones.

Students arrived to class with Mr. Coon singing and playing a small drum. They sang along to a song as Mr. Coon led them around the classroom.

Then it was time to break out their dance moves. Mr. Coon introduced a move and then asked the student to copy that move.

Then the students were asked to come up with a dance move that the other students had to mimic.

After singing another song, the students had the opportunity to play xylophones.

Mr. Coon showed the students the plates they needed to remove before they started playing.

The students then broke up into groups and followed along, each having a chance to play and repeat what Mr. Coon played.
