Every year Cumberland Elementary School fourth graders host a Culture Fair!

In preparation of the event, the students interviewed their family members to research their culture, including traditions, food, clothing, music and more!

The fourth graders then turned this information into an informative poster board to share with others.

Just a few of the cultures represented this year included Polish, Mongolian, Mexican and Nigerian!

The second and third graders are invited to the fair and have the chance to learn about the clothing, food and artifacts that the fourth graders present.

This year, parents also had the opportunity to attend the event!

Ms. Julia Jensen, one of the fourth grade teachers, said the students were proud and excited to share their cultures with others!

All of the students enjoyed learning all about each other and what makes them unique!
